Prioritizing proper movement standards is essential to ensure safety, especially under the intensity of competition.

Basic Skills for Scaled Workouts

Cardio: Run, row, bike, or ski erg; jump rope (single unders)

Gymnastics: Jumping pull-ups, hanging knee raises

Capable of completing 2-3 workouts in one day.

Basic Skills for Rx’d Workouts

Cardio: Run, row, bike, or ski erg; jump rope (double unders)

Gymnastics: Pull-ups, handstand push-ups (HSPU); muscle-ups are a bonus but not required. You might even be challenged to hit your first one during the Finals!

Capable of completing 3-4 workouts in a single day.

Strength Requirements

Minimum weights for multiple reps will be used in the workouts. The above skills are just a guideline, giving you a reasonable idea of what to expect.

For those who can’t complete the workouts as prescribed, don’t worry—every Rx workout has a scaled version, so you can still compete and challenge yourself
